Understanding the Theme Identify the main theme of the poem, which deals with the concept of rebellion and the nature of rebels who go against societal norms and conventions. Explain the contrast between the rebel's actions and those of the people around them, recognizing the differences in behavior and mindset. 2. Recognizing Irony and Humor Understand how the poet uses irony and humor to describe the behavior of rebels. The poem portrays rebellion in a playful and engaging way while making the reader reflect on the true meaning of individuality and non-conformity. Recognize the use of irony in the poem, where the rebel’s actions, meant to show individuality, often make them part of a new group of rebels, thus defeating the purpose of their rebellion. 3.
