Natural Resources - Class 8
Natural resources are the materials and substances found in nature that are used by humans to meet their needs and wants. They can be classified into two main categories: renewable and non-renewable. Renewable resources: These resources can be replenished naturally over time, such as sunlight, wind, water, and forests. Non-renewable resources: These resources are finite and cannot be replenished at a rate that keeps pace with human consumption, such as minerals, fossil fuels, and metals. The sustainable use of natural resources is crucial for the well-being of both humans and the planet.
