Surface Area and Volumes - Class 10

The surface area of any given object is the area or region occupied by the surface of the object. Whereas volume is the amount of space available in an object. In geometry, there are different shapes and sizes such as sphere, cube, cuboid, cone, cylinder, etc. Each shape has its surface area as well as volume. যে কোনো বস্তুর পৃষ্ঠের ক্ষেত্রফল হল বস্তুর পৃষ্ঠ দ্বারা দখলকৃত এলাকা বা অঞ্চল। যেখানে আয়তন হল একটি বস্তুর মধ্যে উপলব্ধ স্থানের পরিমাণ। জ্যামিতিতে, গোলক, কিউব, কিউবয়েড, শঙ্কু, সিলিন্ডার ইত্যাদির মতো বিভিন্ন আকার এবং আকার রয়েছে। প্রতিটি আকৃতির পৃষ্ঠের ক্ষেত্রফলের পাশাপাশি আয়তনও রয়েছে।
