Evaluate the challenges and opportunities of living in deserts: Students will understand the challenges faced by humans living in deserts and the opportunities for sustainable development. Recognize the importance of desert ecosystems: Students will appreciate the ecological significance of desert ecosystems and their role in the Earth's biodiversity. Identify threats to desert ecosystems: Students will be able to identify the major threats to desert ecosystems, such as overgrazing, deforestation, and climate change. Propose strategies for desert conservation: Students will be able to develop strategies for protecting desert ecosystems and promoting sustainable practices in desert regions.
